Requirements for receiving “approval” for registering for INFO I494
- The Bulletin lists the following prerequisite for INFO I494: “Senior standing and approval.”
- The “General Rules” (listed below) along with the check sheet (also below) defines “approval” in this context.
General Rules:
- List of required courses:
- INFO I101, I201, I202, I210, I211, I300, I308, and CSCI N341, N342
- Authorization approved:
- If the student has a ‘C’ or better in all the required courses (listed above), then authorization given for I494 for the fall semester.
- Authorization not approved:
- If the student has all the required courses, but has one or more required course with a grade of ‘C-’ or worse, then those courses need to be repeated prior to receiving approval for I494. If the student has not completed all the required courses, then those courses must be successfully completed prior to receiving approval for I494.
